The client

Fion is an app that allows for situational awareness, risk analysis, detection, and spread prediction technology for wildfires.

The challenge

Fion came to us for an app design, they wanted something that was easily operational for their firefighters and allowed a large scale of information to be accessed within one app. Since Fion is a company that provides tools used to help analyze fires, the main focus of the app had to be around exactly that.

The solution

After some discussion about what tools and features would be included in the app, it was time to get started on the design. We created a dynamic design that allows for simpler interaction between firefighters. The main map allows for a variety of information such as hazards, lookout spots, drop sites, and other important information to be viewed/interacted with.

The result

Working with the Fion team has been great and we are loving how the mobile app is turning out. Can’t wait to see where they take the app!
