Elusive Towns — Interactive Typography Map

"Every time I describe a city I am saying something about Venice." — Invisible Cities, Italo Calvino.

This quote from Marco Polo inspires the theme for Elusive Towns. Following a postal format, the roughly Venice-shaped map has clickable location dots which readers can interact with to view animated postcards. Each postcard is accompanied by a stamp of the respective city and a looping kinetic typography animation featuring keywords from the city’s description.
