British Museum Splash screen redesign

The British Museum London is a popular tourist destination in London that is known for its history as the world's oldest national public museum and the world's third most popular art museum. Founded in 1753, the museum has around 6.5 million annual visitors and is the United Kingdom's most visited attraction.

The British Museum houses diverse collections from all over the world. While the British Museum offers an app, it only allows for audio, which gives users with commentary highlighting exhibits from the institution's collection as well as visitor information to help them plan their visit and navigate the museum. However, while the British Museum houses objects and collections from several different countries, many people from different continents are unable to see and explore artifacts and collections, from their countries without visiting the UK.

This prompted me to create an app that allows users to take virtual and audio tours from their mobile device without ever having to visit the United Kingdom,
