Market Positioning Statement

REBOUND: For ecommerce power users who are tired of the hassles of online ordering, Rebound is the one-stop shop which saves time, effort, and stress. Unlike Route or Shop, Rebound’s one-click workflows eliminate the tedium and enable a consistently delightful ecommerce experience for consumers.

Our Goal was to

1) gather customer email addresses to join the waitlist and

2) educate consumers on our product

Consumer Vision

Carter, who has curated her marketing email to only see deals from her staple brands, uses her Rebound card to purchase her two favorite skin care products for 20% off.

She’s notified that one item is backordered, but the one that’s in-stock is at her local store and will be delivered the next day. The following afternoon, the product is found in its retail packaging on her designated entry table – no cardboard box to throw away. Realizing she ordered the wrong size, she responds “exchange, 16oz” to the confirmation text, leaving it where she found it. The next day, the 16oz bottle appears.

When she books business travel for the following week, the backordered item that was set to be delivered during that time is automatically held until the day of her return. Before leaving, she’s notified that this is her last chance to return that tennis racquet. The grip wasn’t right, so she set it on her entry table. The next day, right after it’s picked up, she’s instantly refunded as she boards the plane.
