Android Enrollment Icon 3/3

The last of the curated set of the app icons I made for Google Play for Education's device enrollment app. This one was probably my favorite!

Some thoughts that went into this particular icon:

1. Information Transfer

This icon is derived from the concept of three tablets stacked on top of one another, with #4FC3F7 (GPFE main color) as the focal point.

2. Pencil Pose

A pencil icon poised at a 45º angle is a familiar action-oriented icon, whether it be edit, create, sign, etc. Additionally, a pencil harkens to education.

3. Yellow & Blue (Gradient-Like)

Yellow pencils are ubiquitous in education, and the cascading tablets allow for a gradient feel with different shades of blue.

4. Pencil -> Finger Metaphor

By combining the old tools with the new, we convey "education" and imply continuity - as pencils then, fingers now. (referencing gclassroom : chalkboard).
