Smart healthy eating app

Sydney Opt-up is a healthy eating assistant application from US healthcare company Anthem. It informs the user the nutritional value of products they have purchased during their grocery shop and gives them a score/rating for the user to track. This was a Proof of Concept to redesign their current application.
 My process was to complete a design audit of the existing app, to see what we could keep and what we could throw away, mocking up a basic happy path, sketched various visual ideas, wire-framing then hi-fi mockups. I wanted to portray something that was simple and fun to use with a fresh look and feel using a mix of stock photography and illustrations.
