Frieda Belinfante

A shot out of a couple of animated scenes I made for an educational video about the life of Frieda Belinfante.

Enter your text hereFrieda was an exceptional woman that played a key role in the Dutch resistance during the second world war. She forged documents to help people escape capture by the Nazis and was one of the masterminds behind the destruction of the ā€œAmsterdam's Bevolkingsregisterā€, where original information about jewish citizens was kept by the Germans.

She escaped capture and execution by dressing up as a man. After the war started a new life in the USA where she became the first female conductor of a professional orchestra.

I tried to match the faces of Frieda and Willem to look like the actual people, but still fit with the style of the animation.

I used Joysticks 'n Sliders to move the face of the characters. Such a handy tool!
