The market leader in pet cosmetics from Hamburg collaborated with Berlin Bytes to develop and design their brand new E-commerce shop in winter 2021.

BellyDog’s online store had to balance conversion optimisation with its brand objective of chiming with existing audiences.

After working closely with BellyDog’s internal stakeholders and marketing team, referencing existing user data to create a solution that strikes a fine balance between brand and sales, we delivered technical planning and wireframing, UX and UI design and data analysis to help the client identify its emerging business opportunities.

Through custom theme development, Berlin Bytes planned, developed, designed and delivered a product burgeoning with the flexibility, enhancement and support this brand needed to articulate itself online.

Our expertise in Shopify, one of the world’s leading CMS and e-commerce platforms, allowed us to tackle this project on a tight turnaround basis. With Shopify’s template language, Liquid, we customise site components for the client’s ease-of-use, making for more mindshare, collaboration and, ultimately, a more effective online store and a better brand experience.

The upshot? Our brand new online store tripled the client’s conversion rate.
