b.telligent - internal time-tracking tool

This project that’s been keeping Berlin Bytes busy since we started our partnership with b.telligent. The idea is the complete redesign and implementation of their internal TimeTrackingTool’s front-end.

Berlin Bytes started this project by developing a rounded understanding of the its codebase, from its legacy project through to its current iteration.

Our next step was to start enhancing the software’s user experience. Improving some of its user interface features called for a critical look at the tool’s key components. When it comes to interacting with some of the app’s states, we spotted a few opportunities.

With advanced routing and URL sync, we enabled the app to be restored to state (not to mention to user preferences, like English or German) by storing app state modifications in the URL.

As b.telligent’s partner, we complement its tech team with front-end design and creative direction for some astounding internal innovations. Our long-standing relationship started in 2019 and has given us the chance to develop, design, implement and improve the tech that drives some of Europe’s smartest BI consultants.
