Ecole des Glaciers – Primary School Web design

Bonjour Dribbblers! 🇫🇷

This time, the french greeting is not accidental or because of some personal preference. I had a chance to design a website for a French Montessori Primary School!

Ecole des Glaciers (Directly translated as School of Glaciers) is a unique school located in the heart of the Alps – Chamonix Mont-Blanc. The school embraces Montessori principles and strongly emphasizes a connection with nature and education through sustainability and ecology. That’s why I decided to use those natural, warm, and earthy colors 🌲⛰.

The logo of the school was already designed, but I have revamped it a little bit so it’s more readable in a digital environment. The shape of the sign was also an inspiration to use as a randomized pattern across the whole website.

Personally, this project is special for me because it was the first website that I could fully develop using Webflow! Moving something from Figma to a viable website gives great satisfaction and a feeling of empowerment.
