Cup of Pirates - Our Flag means Death Fan Art

This illustration was inspired by the TV Our Flag Means Death, which has gained a cult following for it's diverse representation and pirate theme. Teacups are a running theme in my artwork, especially my sticker designs, so I used that as a focus point while trying to make as manty references to the show as possible. I included six references total - the kraken, Blackbeard's ship, a lighthouse, oranges, Karl the seagull, and one of the main character's most recognizable outfits (represented by the pattern on the teacup). I don't usually do fan art, but I had a lot of fun drawing inspiration from the show and making something that was very representative of my style.
