Small World

I just had a stupid fight with my best friend about some stupid petty thing over a boy. I neither remember the details nor the boy. It was clear summer night and the moon was shining bright as I walked home fuming.

As an angry little teenager, I was so angry. Bullied. Annoyed. Frustrated about some crush I couldn't get to even look at me.

So much so that I just wanted to run away to the moon, away from parents, bullies and even friends.

That's when, it hit me that as humans, how pre-occupied we are with our own little lives and small things. There is a whole universe out there for us to explore, but we get we caught in the whims of our daily lives, petty drama and fights.

That's our reach. All we do is look up to see the moon, sun and the stars, and that is our world. This is the piece I could come up with.
