Cosmic Observation UI Design

The off-canvas panel allows users to focus on the main content. The additional information within the hidden sidebar is only revealed after the navicon / hamburger button is clicked. This interactive interface helps to showcase the main content of the webpage.

Hidden section is indeed less discoverable than a visible section, however the off-canvas panel is not carrying important information like navigation. It focuses on the visual observation experience. Moreover, the intended audiences are mobile-savvy users so the content discoverability is high enough in this case.
