ARATU STUDIO - Brand Identity

Hi, we are Aratu Design, a studio that develops visual identities for brands that tell stories.This studio was born in Aracaju, the capital of the State of Sergipe (Brazil), and we used precisely the homeland as inspiration for the creation of our visual identity.

The name itself was inspired by a thing much appreciated around here, the aratu, a type of crab very present in Sergipe's mangroves. In addition, the word ARATU also carries other meanings as part of our names.Using elements such as cashew, the arches of Atalaia, and the aratu itself, we created graphics with an aesthetic inspired by Cordel literature, another typically northeastern element, but with more urban colors and approach, modernizing the whole concept.We bet on modern typography with a touch of rebellion, trying to escape the commonplace and bringing a little more of ourselves to the new identity of the studio.

Creating visual identities is always complicated, but ours was even more difficult because it's something so personal and that says so much about who we are
