Goody Ice-cream Brand Identity Design

Kids are the target market for the new ice cream company Goody. They want to demonstrate to them what appeals to children the most playfully. They hope to dominate the ice cream industry by meeting children's needs. They tried to convince themselves they were as free of rules as children. They came to me to achieve all of their brand identification goals. I've begun mind mapping and planned how it would and should be. I've reached this conclusion as a result of all of these.

My initial goal was to make it humorous. For it, I designed a playful typeface in the manner of children's drawings. I disregarded rules for typefaces like kerning, balancing, etc. The intention is to suggest that they are as rule-free as children are. Then I turned the logo icon into a cartoon, making it much more appealing to children. The brand identity was then quite vibrant, which the kids loved greatly! The overall brand identity contains no heavy elements. I selected eleven different colours to symbolise the ice cream flavours. The others are apparent in the design that you can see.
