PACKAGING DESIGN – ChamDesk

Since technology is very important for our society, especially for Generation Z, it is even more important to create sustainable solutions in this area. In this context, my colleague Katharina Danzinger and me have created a packaging design for the card board competition "PIDA". We created a packaging design that ensures on the one hand a laptop box that can be reused for a longer time and therefore contributes to reducing global environmental pollution, and on the other hand is a real eye-catcher in any room due to its fresh and modern design. The animal, the chameleon is the true quick-change artist of the animal kingdom. With this picture in our heads we have created this packaging design. Environmentally friendly, user-friendly and above all as adaptable as a chameleon, the packaging can be transformed into a laptop table. Inside the box are the two cardboard legs and the corresponding holders that are fixed inside the box. We decided to give this product the name "Chamelion". The name is derived from the German and English words "Chamäleon" (German) and "Chameleon" (English) to indicate that the packaging originates in Austria.
