Milkshake Pride Design Template

Background

To celebrate and support Pride Month, Milkshake launched a new, limited time design template featuring a curated collection of Pride resources that users could add to their Milkshake websites and easily share with their followers.

Problem

One of Milkshake's strengths is the suite of beautiful, customisable design templates. New templates are a highly requested feature from Milkshake users looking to keep their websites updated and fresh.

Approach

We hypothesised that by designing a new template based around a social cause or calendar event, our users would be excited to adopt the template and share it with their followers.

We designed a new template for Pride Month, available for a limited time during the month of June. The design features illustrations and resources to celebrate Pride and the LGBTQIA+ community. The new template was promoted through in-app messaging and a social media campaign.
