Inhabit is building a platform to help SMEs measure their footprint and reach carbon neutral. I joined the team at its very early stages as their sole designer. There was not a brand style nor a fully built platform yet, so I had all to play with.
Within 3 months, I designed their first platform, creating a new brand system, components library, and a number of intricate features to visualise the vision they wanted to achieve. The founders wanted a friendly and energetic app that can make a less dynamic topic of carbon accounting more welcoming. After some quick wireframing, I built a working prototype on Figma which the team could test with. Working closely with our developer, I documented the features and design for him to build, and we had this first version built and live for our early users within the next 3 months.
