Surrealist Juicehead Man

I have lived in Ghana for four years and I became addicted to a specific brand of packaged juice. Although the brand is not represented here, I mimic the original with the vibrant colors to bring out the sweet flavor of orange juice. I deconstruct reality by portraying a pink man with green cornrows puffing purple smoke out of a straw. I am emphatic about the use of complementary colors in my work, they bring out more life to the piece.
