RichInstead | Concept for Google Chrome extension

Hello Dribbble fellows!

We have worked with the Rich Instead Google Chrome extension and want to share our concepts with you. This tool is here to help you save up your money by nudging you to avoid buying things you don't need or that conflict with your financial goals. After installing it, the extension triggers whenever you visit a checkout page. It examines all the items in checkout and sends a trigger message with a proposal to remove this item and, in return, invest the saved funds.

You will see how much money you have saved using Richinstead and what goals you are pursuing on the home screen. You can also review the history of savings for a specific date.

Our task was to fit the logical chains for calculating funds into relatively tiny app functionality. We had to make it compact but apparent at the same time. The design is aimed to be appealing but not distracting the user's attention. Therefore, we mainly used soft shades and rounded elements in our concepts. Do you think we did a good job?
