UX-Focused Charity Website – BreakEven Landing Page
Designing a charity website for an organisation like BreakEven required clarity, calm, and a deep understanding of the audience’s emotions and states of mind - guided by detailed persona mapping.
The landing page had to support two core user groups: individuals affected by problem gambling and their families.
The experience needed to be reassuring, clear, and immediately actionable without pressure.
Key design decisions:
🔹 Direct, question-led copy that speaks empathetically to users
🔹 Simple, high-impact CTAs—making it easy to call or email without confusion
🔹 Mobile-first layout ensuring full accessibility for users reaching out on personal devices
🔹 A content hierarchy that prioritises support and trust
The goal was to design a space that felt safe, focused, and structured—helping users take the first step toward recovery.
