event branding & illustration: summer camp

Every year our Veritas Kids ministry hosts a week-long Summer Camp (the cool version of VBS, you know?). Every year the sun has been the main object, always in a different style. This year, I decided to go for a retro cartoon character because kids love smiley objects with slightly human features! His name is Sunny D. This lil guy became a t-shirt and social media promotional material.

Yes, he is wearing slip-on vans. It's basically the official shoe brand of Veritas by now!
