The Movies is a streaming app that works visually for everyone and is easily accessible through the user interface. A streamlined approach to help users, more specifically kids, to navigate through the streaming app quickly and efficiently to get to their profile.

The Goal

The goal for The Movies is to create an interface that allowed kids to access or create an account in as few steps as possible when navigating from their parents' profile/page or setting up an account for themselves.

User Flow

This user flow shows the steps to be able to get to and change profiles or make a new one. Being able to access a profile in as few steps as possible was the key goal.

Wire Frames

Now that the user flow was done it was fairly easy to put together the wire frames from the way the user flow was designed as well as the inspiration from various other streaming apps. An interface that combined many instances from those inspirations was created.

Visual Design: Part I

The goal with the visual design for the streaming app was to be able to find colors that could represent both parties old and young. A set of contrasting colors that were neutral and had two to stand out and capture the attention where it would need to.
