Persephone

Pair of prints inspired by the Greek goddess Persephone and her portrayal in the Broadway musical Hadestown (by Anaïs Mitchell). Persephone's dual nature as the goddess of spring and queen of the Underworld is represented by two versions of the pomegranate: Our Lady of the Underground and Livin' It Up On Top. Both take inspiration from songs, of the same names, from Hadestown.
