Animal Search Marks

I was hired by Andy Clarke of Stuff and Nonsense to design a logo for the business, Animal Search, which is a service helping to find missing pets in the UK.

Andy was keen to explore the idea that the business helps to solve the puzzle of where a missing pet is and wanted to combine this with the obvious shapes that spring to mind when you think of Animal Search like a paw print or magnifying glass.

These were my initial explorations, playing around with the puzzle being a maze within a shape.
