Featured Project Friday! Congratulations to @rinseandrepeatrecords on their new brand launch! Rinse & Repeat is a DJ collective and record label focusing on House & Techno music. The initiative is focused on building a sense of community and consistency in the House and Techno scene. This was a really fun project to work on with the visual concept illustrating on the vibes of music, audio waves, turn tables spinning, and putting a needle to a record. As a fun side note, the symbol resembles the style of laundry instruction icons commonly seen on garments, emphasizing the idea of rinsing.Check out Rinse & Repeat at their official kick off party at The Walrus (@thewalrusjax) in Jacksonville, FL on 5/21 from 8pm until 2am.Here's a bit more about Rinse & Repeat from their Instagram:"For a long time we’ve noticed the lack of consistent House and Techno in the Jacksonville area, and while sporadic events have occurred we never felt that a true sense of community has ever emerged in the scene. It is this sense of community that stands as a pillar to why we decided to begin Rinse & Repeat. We believe that music has the ability to not only bring people together, but to heal them as well. It’s an innate healing that can not be expressed with words, it must be felt and for some is personally cathartic. Music has the capability to move us in a way that other media are unable. Through our events we hope to create a space that is full of positivity, acceptance, love, and free expression of self."
