2015 - Kalbis Institute University Website

After working as a UI Designer and Front End Developer at an IT consultant company for a year, I moved to work at the Kalbis Institute at the age of 19 🤩; Kalbis Institute is a private university in Jakarta.

Interestingly, at that time, the university accepted me to work there even though I had not yet attended college 🎓. The recruiter said they excluded the bachelor's degree in my position because they thought my skills were suitable according to what is needed, and they believe I am capable of doing work professionally 😎. I am a high school graduate who worked at a university 😬.

I wondered about taking the employee scholarship program, but knowing that the work contract offered is kinda forever 😩, I reconsidered my decision.

The funny thing is, my age and the students who studied there are relatively the same. I feel weird wearing formal clothes while internal students wear casual clothes 😅. I feel like a teenager dressed in a suit and tie like an adult 🧳.

About the project, I was assigned to redesign the main website of kalbis.ac.id. I studied history, management, and all information related to this university. I made some interesting icons for this website because I wanted to give an idea that even though the university is formal, there is an element of fun 🐥, so that prospective students are not tense when they want to register for college 😁.
