Portland Pirates Hockey

Just a thought I've been wrestling with for my beloved Portland Pirates here in Maine. They were formally the Maine Mariners and had one of the greatest hockey logos of all time and sadly I think the Pirates current logo isn't quite up to scratch; not bad just a bit obvious.

Need to work more on the hockey sticks in the middle they are a little subtle and the metaphor is getting lost.
