Fictional Rework Concept
Fictional Rework Concept for book-n-drive Carsharing
All UX designers know this one scenario: We take a look at a certain website or mobile app and think to ourselves “Wait, this could be done in a much more user-friendly way”.
With this in mind, we took a look at the car sharing platform book-n-drive and, through a small fictional rework, showed some improvements to their usability. The main goal of this rework? To significantly simplify the registration process and to make the platform more user-friendly.
We split the registration process into smaller, individual steps. Through this, data input can happen at respective points within the process and completed any time after an account has been created. Registration is possible both via website and redesigned mobile app. The registration process can, through a reminder, be completed at the very point the user last stopped their data input. The current status can always be checked within the mobile app. Through e-mail and app notifications we draw back users’ attention.
