Make Room

Fasting opens me up for more time with God in ways that go beyond my normal rhythms. It creates opportunities to give God my attention place of my attachments.

I fast every once and a while but I don’t always participate in Lent. That said I’m super excited to join in the 40-day fast this year! I also never realized that Lent skips Sundays. I guess they are meant to be weekly celebrations of the resurrection, that’s pretty cool!
