FREEDOM: Complex Flyleaf Illustration

Vrijheid [Freedom] is a book published by Uitgeverij Delubas that promotes critical thinking and reading comprehension in 10-12 year olds. I thought they did a great job covering the theme in many aspects. Chapter topics include freedom of press, state surveillance, freedom of religion, animal rights, to give a few examples. The elaborate illustration used for the endpapers covers freedom in these many shapes and forms. It's dotted throughout with some lovely poems on the subject. I've written a blog post translating these poems from Dutch to English.
