In Reach

I was walking on one of those afternoons with my two beautiful pups (my children). Time slipped away between steps. The night came to us and suddenly the streetlight of the wealthy turned on. One of those that illuminate more and are closer. One of those that are reached with the hands.

I love the contrast of this photo. I am passionate to know that this light would not be so white and intense without the shivering embrace of the darkness that surrounds it. And so is hope, the harder the situation, the more significant and important it is to hold on to the fact that everything can be different, better. Never give up, no matter how dark is the environment that embraces you, even if it suffocates you at times.
