I love my job!! Designed for Monument City Brewing in Baltimore, MD. Take a peek at my process photos and a glimpse of the tasty color of this quality craft beer. The brewmasters over at MCB know their liquid! The label features an old barn timber being hand hewn and craved using a drawer knife in a wood shop. The hand shucking of the wood adds to the craftsmanship vibe of the label.

This handcrafted custom beer label design begins with a pencil sketch, an idea and thumbnails drawn out lightly on paper first. Then, the illustrated label comes to life as I ink the lines with micron pens. The hand drawing and illustration adds to the handcrafted vibe of the beer itself. Next, I pair the illustration with tailored graphic design to create a label that is one-of-a-kind and will stand out on the distributor shelf in the marketplace. Click here to see more photos.
