Design Principles Animation — Alignment

I created a series of slides featuring graphic representations of the six primary design principles: Alignment, Balance, Contracts, Hierarchy, Repetition and White Space.

I also used my own company color palette, as I wanted to leave the door open to the possibility of using these to explain the design process to clients and staff.

Alignment is the first and most basic of the design principles. By using different points of alignment within a design, designers can unify otherwise disparate elements and bring order to a final design.
