Character for a children's banking mobile app
A banking app is a difficult system not only for the children, but also for the adults. To help a child understand certain complexities, we created a mascot. Welcome, Bucks the dog!
Bucks gives advice, confirms transactions, congratulates on success and feels bad for the mistakes alongside with the child. Bucks’ mood will indicate the overall state of things and help memorise important actions. A mascot makes the product more recognizable and increases overall loyalty towards it, as well as helping navigate through the app faster.
For the most part, a mascot is not just a nice visual part of the product, but a UX decision for the user's help.
