Smile keeper - Mental health app

First Dribble post of 2022! Starting the year off on a positive note with a mental health app. I have been reading about how to design for mental health apps and was intrigued to find out that there are various kinds of mental health apps such as the following:

1. Mood trackers

2. PTSD management apps

3. Online therapy

4. Stress management apps

Knowing the various kinds is very important, it allows you as a designer to know which features you will need and to prioritize those features accordingly. Also, learning that the general target users often feel a lack of motivation, so creating a delightful and friendly interface is not just for the aesthetics but to encourage users and to help lift their moods! Being a designer really is a privilige in that, you get to design products that have the potential to impact people's lives positively. Such apps have also helped break the stigma around mental health, allowing people to learn about their condition and to seek relevant help. In the spirit of mental health, this year my commitment is to rest after completing big projects, so I can perform at my best and not burnout. Here's to a great year ahead!
