Back To The Future Movie Poster Title Treatment

Back to the Future was a movie that I just couldn't get enough of when I was a kid.

Growing up, all I wanted was a De Lorean. And when I was finally old enough to drive, there were even a couple around town for sale.

Alas! My parents refused to let me spend my saved up allowance on a boat anchor, and instead convinced me to keep saving for a more reliable vehicle.

Anyways, I recreated this Back to the Future logo as part of a personal alternative movie poster design project.

I drew inspiration for this design both from the film poster (of which, I have an original copy of... I collect original movie posters in case you wanted to know), and from the title design from the Broadway production.

The final letterforms were vectorized in Illustrator and then brought into Photoshop where I jazzed them up with some metallic 80's retrowave aesthetic, a lil' bit of gain, a lil' bit of glow, and if that .psb wasn't heavy enough for you, then I threw in some sparkle and 1.21 gigawatts of pure stock photo lightning.

And, if my calculations are correct, your density brought you here and your brain should be melted right about now.
