89 Utopia - 3D and 2D Illustration

Does anybody know the Japanese animation "Wicked City" (1987)? When I was watching that movie, I literally shocked by its illustration and animation quality and couldn't believe it was released in 1987 (I was 7). There are lots of neon and glossy effects, I could feel typical 80s Japanese animation.

After creating this scene, I suddenly remembered the animation Wicked City. I wanted to put the title and the Japanese character works very well.

Combination of Cinema 4D, Illustrator, and Lightroom.
