This book was a joy to illustrate! This book follows Kaewa, an injured kororā (Little Blue Penguin) who is brought to New Zealand's National Aquarium to recuperate. In preparation, myself and the author spent time getting to know the distinctive personalities of the 13 real-life penguins who appear in the book!
