Logo Design for Personal Branding

I don't usually design logos in my job as a User Experience Designer, but I've always been curious about this specific domain of graphic design and branding. This is an attempt to create a personal branding logo for myself and while doing so, explore the logo design process from initial conceptualisation to final exports and mockups.

Before getting to the visual part, I thought a bit about what qualities I wanted the logo to represent. I also read about shape psychology, logo trends and prepared a list of qualities that I have as a professional in the design industry.

As this logo is meant to represent me, I wanted to use the initials of my first and last names (Ashwin , Tanjore-Shyamsundar - A & T).

I chose a geometric design since they are timeless and easier to scale. I ensured the logo is recognisable in monochrome for accessibility.
