PixBloom Logo Exploration & Design

It has been a while since I have done any logo work, however a friend recently reached out to me about creating one for an exciting new project he is working on. I thought I would share what I created!

For me, logo work is very much about trial and error. Brainstorming even. I took the opportunity to break out Procreate for my iPad, an app that unfortunately doesn't get opened as much as it should. This gave me an opportunity to sketch out some ideas in an organized way.

I knew I wanted to incorporate the p, the b, and a leaf/organic shape. I played around with the idea of adding a camera "shutter" aspect to it, but in the end that became too busy. I also wanted to start in monochrome, as I think every logo should, but came back and added a colored option after the design was finished.
