Koble: Community for parents
Hey Dribbble,Â
Here to share some of the work we did with Koble to reimagine the digital communities.Â
Koble is a Toronto-based startup that is shaking up post-partum care.Â
Being a new parent is tough. It can be isolating, scary, and stressful. Post-partum depression numbers are skyrocketing, the pandemic isn’t helping. Parents need some sense of belonging.
Koble saw a need and asked us to help them come up with a solution. Their ask: create a digital community to help new parents feel safe and supported.Â
Working on the assumption that today’s digital communities are broken, we sought to create a space that fostered psychological safety.Â
We landed on three pillars for Koble’s community experience:
ConnectionÂ
SafetyÂ
GrowthÂ
In research, we found personality types and parental styles are high-value factors for parent compatibility and connection.
While moderation and expert-led prompts worked best to foster safety and growth while maintaining intimacy within the nests.Â
