Volunteer Humanity Inc. LOGO!

I began with color guidelines, but had creative freedom on the rest of the logo. The design was done for a nonprofit organization that operates volunteer programs for youth and adult students. The company's main values are integrity, equality, and innovation. The text portion of the logo was designed to stand out, be bold, and appear sturdy (reliable). The symbol portion of the logo (my illustration) utilizes black outlining to separate it from the background and add structure. It has smooth sides, pointed ends, and is layered. This helps form an illusion of a flower about to bloom (innovation/new age).
