IG post for virtual volunteering service!
I began with a basic guide for the service's social media standards (color codes + fonts). The target audience was young and busy college students. I chose a stock photo with bright lighting to complement the bright brand colors, and a young women relaxed on the floor. The gender of the person in the photo is important. Women are more likely to volunteer than men. The background stripes are cut off by the photo and its circular barrier. I chose to do this to make the design dynamic while keeping a soft element to it. The text is short and to the point, as the target audience has short attention spans. The text is aligned with the person's eyes to promote focus on the message.
