Pantone’s 2022 color of the year: an illustration

The year’s drawing to a close, but though 2021 has given us much to look back on, at Zajno we’re also eagerly looking ahead to what 2022 has in store. And while the soothsayers of the different creative industries – design, fashion, beauty – naturally all have different ideas about what comes next, they all seem agreed that it’s something exciting.  

The colour gurus at Pantone naturally weild an outsized influence in setting the tone for the year ahead, and they’ve just revealed precisely what that tone will be. Called Veri Peri, it’s featured in our latest shot, which depicts the process of workers replacing 2021’s now-defunct colour scheme with its box-fresh replacement.  

As is so often the case, everything from the characters to the background was cooked up in Procreate.
