Document Details, Interface Design Playground

When information is organised well, the interface becomes a breeze to use!

Hello! I recently redesigned the flow for managing documents on a client project.

Before: For the past 20 years, their system showed a table, listing all the docs. uploaded with very few bits of usable information. It had primary actions like Download/Delete placed as text links, making the space hard to scan visually.

After: With this new design, users get a peek at what the file is- with a preview image. I organised all the useful file info. in a friendly manner, along with direct buttons for taking action. This brings the system one step closer to a better experience.

PS. The client and the users liked this new design!
