Qhaway

'Qhaway' is a Quechua word that means: to observe, to scrutinize.

'Qhaway to learn' is a dictionary app in Bolivian Quechua, which uses illustrations as complementary support to the translation into the Spanish language.

It is complemented with a translator between the same languages, as well as a note book notes; being the Qhaway typeface an own elaboration.

The concept of the project was focused on the Tocapus (Andean fabrics) made by the Quechuas since the XV century. The patterns with 90° angles that these fabrics represent, are the construction base of everything that is presented within the Andean worldview.

The color palette features earthy tones, which blend perfectly with the sober landscape of the towns that lie under the Andes Mountains.
