Ken Griffey Jr. | Baseball Card Design

Similar to the Jayson Tatum card design I did, finding a design that properly did an all-time great like Ken Griffey Jr. justice wasn't an easy task.

I used the Mariners teal and blue on my Julio Rodriguez poster design so I really wanted to throw it back with the vintage Mariners blue and gold on this design. This design utilizes that gold to create a cool 3D text effect for The Kid headline and the autograph, something I have wanted to experiment with for a while, and something that really stands out against the bold color of the blue utilized for the background.
