Aspen Labs Logo & Identity

My first task at Aspen Labs was to re-brand the company. I was super excited and honored to be given this opportunity on day one!

Aspen Labs was started by Electrical Engineers who love Software Development. Our 3 branches of work are 1) Software tools for Electrical Engineers, 2) Creative Services for EE companies, and 3) Editorial Content for learning within the EE industry.

The goal was to create a logo and identity that was a nod to EE, but give us space to function in other industries as well. After many rounds and explorations, we landed on this wordmark with copper leading the color palette. (Copper is used in manufacturing Printed Circuit Boards.)
