Gameday

This is the app’s default page. The intention of the app is to serve as a second-screen companion to watching a baseball game or as the primary experience if the user doesn’t want to/cannot watch a broadcast. This page primarily serves as a dashboard for a chosen game and would update in real-time as the game progresses. Components such as the current at-bat match-up, a log of each at-bat, and box scores make up the “Gameday” feature.

Given a typical tablet’s screen size, it was important to ensure that there would be no vertical scrolling and that all components are available on-screen. What this means in practice is that some components require scrolling within. Components such as the score ticker at the top of the screen, or the game’s play log at the bottom of the screen are scrollable to show more information.
